Over the course of her political career, two-time failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has become synonymous with corruption, scandal, and foul play. Many people believe the Clintons are responsible for the deaths of people who had information to bring them down; however, no one can deny the extent of malpractice associated with Hillary Clinton’s emails, foundation, or time in government.

In October 2019, Hillary Clinton went after 2020 Democrat and war veteran Tulsi Gabbard. Branding Gabbard as a “Russian asset” without proof, Clinton stated that Gabbard was being used by the foreign government in order to sabotage the outcome of the 2020 election. The war veteran rapidly shot back at Clinton and demanded the twice unsuccessful candidate to publically retract her untrue statements.
Clinton declined to do so; therefore, Tulsi Gabbard has officially hit her with a lawsuit that alleges defamation, as documented by Breitbart News.
What to Know About the Defamation Lawsuit
Gabbard formally filed her suit against Clinton in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
The lawsuit, along with a subsequent official statement, holds Clinton to task for purposefully “smearing” the “political and personal reputations” of Tulsi Gabbard. The war veteran’s lawsuit comes after months of the twice-failed candidate’s refusal to issue an apology or retract her unfounded remarks.
In more of her official campaign statement, Gabbard torches Clinton for “deliberately and maliciously” spewing falsehoods with the intention of harming the former’s presidential candidacy.
Moreover, the war veteran asserts that Clinton’s “malicious and demonstrably” wrong statements have derailed her campaign. The statement also points out Gabbard’s years of service to her country, both in Congress and in the Army National Guard.
Thus far, Clinton has not formally responded to the lawsuit which presently stands against her.
Holding Hillary Clinton Accountable
Tulsi Gabbard’s lawsuit against Hillary Clinton is long overdue for a plethora of reasons. Aside from Clinton being as crooked as a three dollar bill, it is absolutely outrageous for her to brand Gabbard as a “Russian asset.” Not only does the twice-unsuccessful presidential candidate lack proof, but Clinton herself is no ally to the United States.

During Clinton’s time as head of the State Department, she consistently sold out America to the highest bidder and for her own personal gain. If Clinton wants to accuse others of being assets of foreign governments, she first needs to clean up her own house.
Despite the politics of Tulsi Gabbard, she’s still a veteran and someone who has risked her life in service to this country. An iota of respect is the least that she is owed from someone like Hillary Clinton.
