Earlier this month, the DNC embarrassed themselves with the major failure that was their Iowa caucus. To make matters even worse, several Democrat candidates went on to declare victory as the results of the caucus remained unknown. Overall, the entire debacle turned out to be a mess and reflected very poorly on the left.

While the gravity of the Iowa caucus failure has apparently escaped Democrats, there is one exception to that rule; the exception would be 2020 candidate Tulsi Gabbard. On Sunday, the war veteran and presidential contender called for DNC Chairman Tom Perez to resign from his post, reports Washington Examiner.
While speaking with WMUR over the weekend, Gabbard also shared her insight on the overall concerns that voters have regarding the Democrat primaries.
Why Gabbard Wants Perez to Resign from the DNC
When calling for Perez’s resignation, the war veteran not only cited the failed Iowa caucus, but also “growing skepticism” from Democrat voters.
According to Gabbard, left-wing voters have some real concerns about whether or not the DNC will ensure that their base is fully informed about the primary candidates. This isn’t the first time that Gabbard has criticized the DNC; more than once, the 2020 Democrat slammed the Democrat establishment for their metrics in determining which candidates make it on the debate stage.
Thus far, Perez maintains that he has no intention of stepping down from his position as the DNC chairman. When further justifying the need for Perez to resign, Gabbard noted that prior to the Iowa caucus, the DNC sent out a statement claiming that three year’s worth of preparation would ensure that the caucus went off without a hitch.
Finally, the 2020 Democrat stated that the “greatest disservice” of the Iowa Democrat Party’s disastrous caucus occurred to voters. To this day, there is still not full transparency regarding the votes in the caucus.
Poor Leadership within the Democrat Party
Poor leadership is a plight that continues to sicken the Democrat Party. The incompetency within the DNC is merely one of many examples. Congressional Democrat leaders have proven themselves to be just as inept as Perez, if not more so. Americans witness this over and over again; although, the latest examples are undoubtedly the impeachment sham and talk of Democrats potentially bringing new charges against the president.

It’s as plain as day that Democrats will continue to collectively fail as a party. They haven’t been quite the same ever since President Trump burst their bubble and defeated Hillary Clinton in 2016. Only time will tell what the party’s reaction will be when Trump defeats the 2020 Democrat nominee and goes on to win a second term in office.
