The 2024 presidential election is quickly beginning to come to fruition. More candidates on both sides of the aisle are declaring their candidacies and beginning to make their cases to the American people.
Polling of 2024 is also coming out. However, it’s still very early and there’s still plenty of time for more candidates to make their announcements.
However, plans for the first 2024 debate amongst Republican contenders are already working out. According to Breitbart News, the venue for this debate has been determined and announced.
What to Expect From the GOP Debate
Fox News is going to be the host of the first debate between 2024 GOP primary contenders. However, despite the venue being set, there is no date announced. Given the fact that the field of Republicans who want to run for the nomination is still increasing, a debate date will likely come in the months ahead.

In the meantime, it remains to be seen which other Republicans choose to join the race. Currently, all eyes are on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis as there’s a lot of speculation that he will enter the election in either May or June.
Hot Topics at the Debate
Given that Joe Biden has announced his intention to run for another presidential term, whichever Republican wins the party’s nomination will likely end up facing Biden.

Therefore, some hot topics to come up at the debate will likely be which Republican poses the biggest threat to the current president. Policy matters such as the economy, immigration, inflation, abortion, and other matters can also be expected to be asked of candidates.
So far, there is no word on who will be hosting additional GOP 2024 primary debates after the first one. Though Americans can expect announcements to this end as the year progresses.
