Running for president of the United States is a job which requires connecting with the American people. A fact of life is that some individuals are more cut out for the job than others; Americans are seeing this as various 2020 Democrats struggle in the polls, while others have either dropped out or faded into irrelevance as candidates.
At this time, 2020 Democrat Kamala Harris is struggling. Her standing in the polls hovers around 7% and she’s also landed in hot water for her policies and the manner in which she’s chosen to articulate her positions.

New reports from Fox News show that Democrats aren’t too thrilled about the idea of President Kamala Harris. During a town hall in Reno, Nevada, Harris spoke about electability and seemingly shrugged it off. When she asked if America was “ready” for her to serve as president, a resounding “NO” came from the crowd.

Why Don’t Americans Want Kamala Harris as President?
There are a plethora of reasons to not want Harris as president. First on the list is her policies; Harris, like other Democrats, favors bringing in the government to control people’s lives and make decisions which the left-wing has decided is for the greater good. Harris, in a general election would be absolutely crushed by President Trump and people on both sides of the aisle know this.
Democrat voters might not be too excited about Harris, simply because they don’t view her as sincere. Harris has faced criticism from her own party about contradictions between her statements and her prior work as a prosecutor.

Also, Democrats seem to be concerned about electability, something which Harris alluded to herself; this would explain why former Vice President Joe Biden is leading in the polls, despite his multiple blunders and admitted quid-pro-quo with Ukraine. Biden’s campaign is using his name recognition for all its worth and trying their hardest to brand him as the “most electable” Democrat.
The 2020 Presidential Election
America’s message to Kamala Harris was loud and clear. The Reno town hall coupled with Harris’ subpar standing in the polls shows that Democrats clearly don’t want her as president. If Democrats don’t want her, Harris certainly isn’t going to be able to win over Independents, Republicans, and other groups which are paramount to winning a general election.
Only time will tell how soon Harris decides to cut her losses and simply drop out of the 2020 presidential election.
