Democrats have no problem with saying one thing and doing something entirely different if they believe it’ll help them politically. The pool of running 2020 Democrats is a prime example of this; however, the latest instance of contradictions between words and actions comes from candidate Elizabeth Warren.

Warren is infamous for her terrible policies, intentional mistruths, and willingness to say anything to get elected. Per reports from The Daily Caller News Foundation, the Massachusetts senator vowed not to perpetuate “disinformation,” even for her own gain. This, however, was a lie before Warren even finished typing it on Twitter.

Warren, like other 2020 Democrats, repeatedly spreads disinformation and she knows it. Wealth shaming is disinformation, as are Warren’s claims that Medicare-for-All won’t engender higher taxes on middle-class families. Nevertheless, Warren remains committed to her lies about disinformation as she works to advance her presidential campaign.

A Closer Look at Warren’s Lies about Disinformation

Warren’s lies concerning not spreading disinformation came along with the promotion of a new plan. The 2020 Democrat’s plan involves cracking down on supposed disinformation, not barring “tough civil and criminal penalties” for online tech companies that are deemed as spreading misinformation.

Citing companies like Twitter and Facebook, Warren also alleged that Trump employed the distribution of disinformation in 2016 to get elected.

Warren’s new crusade against supposed “digital disinformation” might be slightly more believable if she didn’t perpetuate what she’s now condemning.

The Massachusetts senator has been caught in countless lies to count; one example occurred in October 2019 when Warren accused Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg of formally endorsing Trump for president of the United States. Zuckerberg made no such endorsement and Warren later admitted that she published this misinformation in an ad to test Facebook’s algorithms.

An Affinity for Disinformation

If Warren is truly as opposed to disinformation as she claims to be, she ought to look no further than herself. From the aforementioned phony Facebook ad to her lies about Medicare-for-All, Warren is in absolutely no position to lecture others about the pitfalls of misinformation. The Massachusetts senator is as fake as a three dollar bill and has built a campaign on misinforming naive Democrats.

Twitter users didn’t hesitate to blast Warren for her blatant hypocrisy:

Warren has, of course, declined to address her countless instances of spreading misinformation.
