As one of the most radical or “progressive” Democrats currently seeking the presdiency, Elizabeth Warren is full of utopian lies or “bold change,” as she likes to call it.

Time and time again, the Massachusetts senator has professed that she’ll take various, grand actions if she’s elected as president. Some of her most outlandish and absurd policies to date include Medicare-for-All, weaponizing the government to steal from successful Americans, and worse.

In the past few weeks, Warren’s campaign has taken a nosedive. She’s not only sparred with former mayor and 2020 rival Pete Buttigieg, but Warren also found herself in a brewing feud with Bernie Sanders earlier this month; reports recently broke that Sanders told Warren that a woman can’t become president. The socialist senator denied the aforementioned reports, while Warren stated they were true.

Following the episodes of drama associated with Warren’s campaign, her latest interview with the New York Times editorial board also places her in a negative light. Per documentation from Breitbart News, Warren confesses that she believes she may fail as president and be unable to adhere to all the promises she’s made to her supporters.

Why Warren Doesn’t Believe Her Own Lies

By her own admission, Warren is guilty of an “optimism bias.” When speaking with the Times, the 2020 Democrat confessed that she “optimism bias” causes her to work 14-hour days and continue peddling terrible policies to American voters. Moreover, Warren admitted that she believes she’ll only accomplish “part” of what she’s promising to voters if she somehow managed to weasel her way into the White House.

It shouldn’t come as a shock that even Warren doesn’t believe what she’s selling to her naive base. Even if the socialist somehow managed to con her way into the White House, the type of policies she’s talking about would inevitably have to go through Congress. With a Republican majority in either body, programs like Medicare-for-All and Warren’s infamous, proposed “wealth tax” would die.

Warren knows this which is why she’s admitting now that she won’t be able to follow through on her grand promises. Unfortunately, many people who support Warren are under the unfortunate illusion that she can simply wave a wand and turn America into a socialist nation.

The truth of the matter is that Warren doesn’t stand a chance of coming within sniffing distance of the White House, just as her policies wouldn’t stand a chance of making it through Congress.

Why Socialism Will Always Fail

In these great United States, socialism will always fail because it is inherently anti-American. Capitalism, in all its glory, fuels innovation, growth, upward mobility, societal advancements, and countless other opportunities that make America so great.

Progressives like Warren may be able to get on stages, spout off far-left talking points, and rally socialist supporters, but they’ll never win a general election. Despite what Warren and other 2020 Democrats have attempted to sell, socialist policies are deeply unpopular; as a matter of fact, they’re so unpopular that even some moderate Democrats are opposed to Warren and the positions she stands for.
