Whenever the Democrat Party is not getting what they want, they find a way to make themselves out to be the victims.
We’ve all seen this time and time again; Democrats have no problem with repeatedly slandering President Trump, but when the president responds, all of a sudden, he’s the bad guy. Progressives have no issue with demonizing conservatives and Trump supporters, but when the right-wing points out the inherent flaws of progressive politics, progressives cry racism.
The victimhood narrative of the Democrat Party has grown old and stale, but they’re determined to stick with it anyway. Yesterday, 2020 Democrat Elizabeth Warren went on an online tirade against Facebook, as documented by The Daily Caller News Foundation. Warren not only admitted to purposefully running a fake news ad on Facebook, but she also accused the social media platform of being a “disinformation-for-profit machine.”
At this point, this falls right in line with the expected conduct of Democrats and progressives.
A Close Review of Warren’s Personal Vendetta Against Facebook
First and foremost, it’s critical to note that Warren’s crusade against Facebook is completely disingenuous. If she truly believed what she was saying about the platform, she wouldn’t be using it to advance her struggling presidential campaign. Like all Democrats, Warren says one thing when the mic is on and then does something completely different behind the scenes. This shouldn’t shock anyone, but it’s still important for everyone to be aware of the ill conduct of the Democrat Party.
Warren kicked off her smear campaign by first bragging that her presidential campaign “intentionally” published
See for yourself:
Warren didn’t stop here, though. She then seized this opportunity to go on an unhinged rant about how Facebook cares more about profit than about “protecting democracy.”
Of course, as an individual who suffers from Trump Derangement Syndrome, Warren couldn’t help but drag the president into her smear campaign against Facebook and accuse them of aiding his re-election campaign. Per Warren’s own statements, Facebook is just “taking the cash” and allowing Trump’s campaign to run “false” ads.
The 2020 Democrat later blamed Facebook for helping Trump win the 2016 election. You can’t make this stuff up; see for yourself:
The Truth on Why Warren Won’t Leave Facebook
To date, Elizabeth Warren continues to use Facebook to connect with voters and further her presidential campaign. She’s doing this because in spite of all her talk about how terrible Facebook is and how much they supposedly love President Trump, she knows that their platform is a significantly useful tool. Warren refuses to put her money where her mouth is and withdraw from Facebook altogether because it would hurt her politically.
Once again, Warren’s latest smear campaign against Facebook is all talk with no real substance behind it. If anything, Facebook should take action against Warren for intentionally using their platform as a tool to publish what she knows is fake news. However, were Facebook to actually do this, Warren would only have more ammunition to further her narrative as a victim.
When Warren actually removes herself and her campaign from Facebook altogether, then Americans can begin to take her words seriously.
