The southern border has been in tatters for nearly two years now. This is the doing of the Biden administration, seeing as Joe Biden chose to remove the border policies set in place by the Trump administration.
After rolling back these measures, the number of attempted and illegal crossings skyrocketed. Biden made Vice President Kamala Harris the point person to handle the southern border; though absolutely nothing has come of this.
Since the southern border started having problems, Republicans pressed the White House to get ahold of this, but to no avail.
The Biden administration only began to acknowledge this once Republican Governors Ron DeSantis, Doug Ducey, and Greg Abbott began transferring migrants to left-wing sanctuary cities.
Despite the best efforts of GOP leaders and officials to deal with the southern border, crippling issues still remain. Now, watchdog group Project Veritas is warning that child labor and human trafficking are being advanced at the border and on Biden’s watch, per Breitbart News.
A Closer Look at Project Veritas’ Allegations
Project Veritas reports that an employee of the US government shared some very disturbing claims.
These claims allege the Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) program is letting underage girls come into the country, only for the Health and Human Services Department to hand them over to so-called “sponsors.”
The problem with these “sponsors” is many of them are illegal immigrants with ties to cartels and coyotes.

Tara Lee Rodas, a previous aide with the aforementioned department, says getting the kids to sponsors in a hurry is more important to the government than ensuring they make it to safe homes with trusted guardians.
Rodas likewise said the “sponsors” entrusted by the Biden administration are oftentimes criminals and human traffickers.
To make matters even worse, after these kids are handed over to the “sponsors,” Rodas says these folks have all the power over the kids and can even have them deported. By this time, the hands of the US government are tied.
Dangerous Mismanagement
Conservatives always warned that how Biden was going about handling the southern border wasn’t right. However, what Rodas is describing speaks to serious negligence that is enabling child labor, human trafficking, and other egregious crimes.
The border is a criminal enterprise. Human trafficking. Rape. Murder. Drugs. The democrats are ignoring it. Biden is spending yet another holiday in a billionaires home with a catered meal. He’s out of touch.

Thus far, the White House has not yet come out with any statements about these concerns raised by Project Veritas.
The Biden administration also hasn’t publicly confirmed any precautions are being taken to ensure minors who enter the United States aren’t handed over to traffickers, cartels, or coyotes.
