The Biden presidency is a huge factor in the rise of U.S. gun sales. Many Americans believe that in current, uncertain times, the ability to protect themselves is paramount. The present White House administration is one cause of this, as are the recent responses to coronavirus and far-left riots carried out by Antifa and BLM.
When Biden sought his current position as president, he repeatedly promised to trample on constitutional Second Amendment rights. In this month alone, the Democrat president has put pressure on his congressional party members to pass anti-gun reform.
On Tuesday, White House press secretary Jen Psaki furthermore confirmed that the White House has plans to ram through more gun control laws, Breitbart News reports.
More Gun Control Under the Biden Administration
The other day, Psaki told reporters that the sitting president has a vested interest in passing gun control reform. The White House press secretary additionally professed that “smart” safety measures for firearms are something that Biden’s consistently advocated for throughout his political career.

Since being in office, the Democrat president has positioned himself as an enemy to gun owners. In legislation backed by Biden, gun owners could end up paying higher taxes; likewise, manufacturers of guns would have more liability on their shoulders and a greater likelihood of going out of business.
From advocating for mandatory firearm buybacks to pushing for a ban against assault rifles, this president continues to show zero regard for gun ownership or the Second Amendment.
Fighting for the Second Amendment
The National Rifle Association (NRA), other gun rights organizations, and millions of gun owners across America are determined to fight for their Second Amendment rights.
This is one reason why Republicans are working so hard to win back the House and/or the Senate. If the GOP regains either majority, Biden and Democrats in Congress will not have free reign to pass radical gun control measures or other far-left policies.

On Tuesday, Psaki informed reporters that Biden’s work to enact more gun control will require congressional legislation. This, again, speaks to the power of Congress and the necessity for a federal government with checks-and-balances, rather than one-party rule.
